About Me
I'm Patrick - originally from Yorkshire, but now residing north of the border on the West Coast of Scotland, alongside my wonderful partner Patricia and best pal and walking buddy Alva (the labradoodle).
Being a huge food and music lover, I spend a lot of my time away from weddings buying records, going to gigs and trying out new and interesting eateries around Scotland. Recent favourites have been Inver on the banks of Loch Fyne and Big Counter in the Southside of Glasgow, both of which are amazing and well worth a visit.
As well as food and music my other big passion is architecture and interiors. We recently took on a huge renovation project in the shape of a 6 bedroom Victorian Villa by the sea, which is proving both charming and challenging in equal measure! But the pleasure in breathing some life back into an old property and restoring it to its former glory is something I’ll never tire of.
My wedding photography is very much inspired by my love of old reportage and street photography, which I’ve obsessed over since discovering it in my late teens. I’m happiest wandering the streets of new cities or windswept west coast beaches with my trusty Olympus, soaking in the atmosphere, colours and textures, whilst capturing the day to day happenings I come across. New places and people are a constant source of inspiration to me, so being able to travel far and wide capturing wonderful wedding celebrations really is a dream job.
